Bob Dictation License Agreement

By installing and using the app you accept this agreement. If you do not agree, do not install the app; a purchased license can be refunded under section 6.
1. What you get
We grant you the right to use the app:
- Free version — no time limit, with basic features.
- Pro version — all features, one license for one computer, perpetual, with no monthly fee. A license can be moved to a new computer if you no longer use the app on the old one. For personal use, installation on your desktop computer and your laptop is allowed.
The right may not be transferred to other people or organizations without our consent.
2. What is not allowed
- Selling, renting out or distributing the app as your own.
- Taking the app apart to bypass the license check, or forging keys.
- Presenting the app or its parts as your own product.
Ordinary user rights — making a backup copy, studying how the app works for compatibility — remain yours, as the law requires.
3. Your data and voice
- Speech recognition runs on your computer. Audio is not sent to us or to third parties.
- We do not receive your texts, recordings or window contents.
- Details are in the Privacy Policy.
4. Updates
Pro includes updates for 12 months from the date of purchase. After that the app keeps working without restrictions; further updates are optional, through a separate low-cost support subscription. We are not obliged to release new features by any particular date.
5. Liability
The app is provided “as is”. We build it in good faith and test it before release, but we cannot promise that it will work on every device and in every program, nor absolute accuracy of speech recognition.
We are not liable for lost profit, loss of data or indirect damages. Our liability is in any case limited to the amount you paid for the license. This does not limit rights that cannot be limited under the law of your country, including consumer rights.
The app is not intended for tasks where a recognition error endangers life, health or property (medicine, transport, industrial control).
6. Refunds
If the app does not suit you, we will refund your money within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Purchases in the Microsoft Store follow the store's rules.
7. Third-party components
The app uses open components listed in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file. They remain under their own licenses. NVIDIA libraries, if you choose to download them, are used under NVIDIA's terms.
8. Termination
The agreement ends if you breach section 2. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the app. Your files — notes, history, settings — stay with you.
9. Governing law and disputes
